The Nar Phu Valley Trek with Kang La Pass is located in one of Nepal’s restricted regions, renowned for its untouched landscapes and rich Tibetan-influenced culture. Opened to foreign trekkers in 2003 under special permit regulations, this area requires travelers to obtain a restricted area permit and trek with a government-licensed guide through a registered trekking agency. Everest Alpine Trekking is an authorized company in Nepal that can assist in arranging the necessary permits and provide experienced, licensed guides for this journey.
Nar Phu Valley is among the most remote and pristine trekking destinations in the Nepal Himalayas, offering a rare opportunity to experience an authentic Tibetan lifestyle and traditions. The region is primarily inhabited by communities of Tibetan origin, allowing trekkers to witness their unique culture, ancient monasteries, and traditional mountain lifestyle. In addition to its cultural richness, the valley offers breathtaking Himalayan views, including peaks such as Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Tilicho Peak, and Lamjung Himal.
